As the snow fades away some areas of the province, we hope you are taking some time for yourselves. Here on the east coast, the snow is still coming strong.
An in-person training will occur on in Corner Brook at the Glenwood Inn on March 25, 2023 and a foster family fun day will be held at the bowling alley in Corner Brook on March 26. Please RSVP to nlffa@nfld.net or lori@fosterfamiliesnl.ca if you would like to attend. There will also be door prizes.
We are excited to announce that our annual Symposium will take place on June 9-11 at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s. A registration package will be sent to everyone via email or mail at the beginning of April. This event will be filled with great conversation, workshops, a silent auction, keynote speakers, entertainment, and great food. Early registration is until April 30 at a cost of $45 and $50 after that date. Emt can be sent to nlffa@nfld.net. If you have any questions, please give us a call at (709)754-0213. The training is open to foster parents, social workers and other professionals in the community.
