Foster Families are needed throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. To Foster is to share heart and home with a child/youth. Foster Families provide a nurturing, supportive home environment for children. Foster Care is meant to be a temporary arrangement to allow birth families to work on a range of challenges that resulted in their child being placed in foster care. All families have problems sometimes and the main goal in most circumstances will be reunification. CASEY (Coalition Against the Sexual Exploitation of Youth) Training

This training focuses on risks, signs, what you can do to help and resources available when discussing sexual expoitation of youth. There will also be a focus on on-line risks. This training will be over 2 days (Oct 25 and 26, 2022) from 9-12pm each day. Virtual link to follow.
