Foster Families are needed throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. To Foster is to share heart and home with a child/youth. Foster Families provide a nurturing, supportive home environment for children. Foster Care is meant to be a temporary arrangement to allow birth families to work on a range of challenges that resulted in their child being placed in foster care. LDANL is a provincial network for individuals with learning disabilities and those who support them. Their vision is to enable all individuals with learning disabilities to reach their true potential. Join us as we learn from people who have lived experience with learning disabilities; we’ll also find out about the many supports offered by the LDANL, such as tutoring, support groups, and assistive technology, as well as practical strategies for supporting someone with a learning disability.
